Icon of the Seas

Jarotech have supplied special burner, combustion chamber and high-pressure steam boiler with control cabinet for syngas on board wold largest cruise ship,  Icon of the Seas, which started operation from Miami in January 2024.  Star of the Seas and the following 4 new-buildiings are e also equipped with the same equipment from us.

Icon of the Seas will be one of the world’s largest cruise ships with about 10,000 people on board. All organic waste from food, cardboard, plastic, paper etc. is pyrolyzed and the gas is taken care of in our combustion plant. The heat from this gas produces steam that is used to heat shower water and for the laundry on board.
