Jarotech delivered and operated a 7.8 MW boiler for the delivery of 200°C hot water, 24 barg for testing the Gjøa platform’s MEG module.

The boiler was delivered with a duoblock oil burner from Petrokraft. The burner is made for industrial use and is modulating with electronic air/fuel regulation. The regulation range for the burner was 1:10, max 9000 kW within 30 seconds. The burner has ignition on propane. The boiler was delivered with a complete Jarotech special expansion system, fuel oil system, fans, chimney and control system. Jarotech operated the plant 24/7 for 3 months during the test period.
